Company Connect / Selected script

Dialogue from the later section labeled “Script” in the original. Selected stage cues included; production logistics omitted.

Jake: Welcome to Company Connect! I’m Jake Kapusansky and I’m an SD. Today, we’re live from San Francisco on the new 13th floor. I love it up here. I like to stop by the coffee bar and get a Pumpkin Spiced Latte to kick off my day. And up here, you never know who you’ll run into…

Jake: Wait, what? Is that Lamabot? And Violet from the Golden State Valkyries?

Camera pans to Lamabot and Vi hanging out at the coffee bar with mugs with the LI logo, on cue they tap their mugs to “cheers”

Sound: Too Short Blow the Whistle (Instrumental) begins to play. Violet breaks into a dance routine for 15 seconds and dances her way toward the elevator. Fade out Music.

Jake: Well if that wasn’t a hyphy way to start off the meeting I don’t know what is, but that's the vibe of the Bay Area, and especially SF. We have our own sound, we’re known for tech and innovation, and we love our sports teams. We’re home of the Golden State Warriors, 7 time NBA champions! And we go hard for our newly formed women’s basketball team, the Golden State Valkyries. So I couldn’t be more excited to have Vi, the official Valkyries mascot here kicking off Company Connect.

Jake: Another great spot is our new co-working area. It has amazing views and is perfect for a coffee chat or maybe even hosting a high profile visitor…

Camera pans to Lou Seal near the big screen arms crossed, looking sad.

Jake: Lou Seal! It doesn’t get more high profile. Why are you looking sad? You’re offended I didn’t mention the SF Giants?! Of course I have to mention our home team with 8 World Series wins!

Lou changes his posture and gestures and fist pumps. He and the host fist bump. Lamabot appears and shares some affection with Lou and Jake.

Jake: The 13th floor is the perfect spot to connect with friends. I mean, Lamabot, I never see you outside of Teams. And Lou, at this point, I feel like we’re friends. I’m always at the games cheering you all on. And I know you’ve got some dance moves too, would you be down to showing Lamabot and me some of your favorites?

Fade in song: Mac Dre Thizzle Dance. Bring in Lou lower third. And then Lamabot and Lou dance to the music. Fade out song: Mac Dre Thizzle Dance.

Jake: I’ve had so much fun up here and hear there’s a fun surprise down there in Focus, going to throw it to you.

Fade in song: E-40 Tell Me When to Go (instrumental plays). Camera shows Vi running into Focus. She throws some Linkedin shirts into the audience and does some dance moves, bringing the energy. She strikes a final pose and waves to the audience, then to Ryan to welcome him on the stage as usual to Company Connect.

Fade out song: E-40 Tell Me When to Go (instrumental plays) / fade in Ryan walk-on song

Ryan: Wowww! Well, that was a Company Connect first. 3 mascots in 3 minutes. Huge thanks to Violet, Lou Seal, and Lamabot for showing how we in SF love our sports, music, and our new 13th floor!
